Civilians' deaths in Sri Lanka

The fighting between Sri Lankan Security forces and the LTTE has become more intense and ferocious as the government forces attempts to recapture the remaining rebel strongholds in Mullaitivu. The SL government says that it has designated a "safe zone" for civilians. These photos are evident to the brutality of the LTTE over the 'traitors' fleeing from their territory. LTTE considers those who flee into the government administered areas as traitors. It is evident that this kind of brutality has normalized there. People spend their day to day life amidst such atrocities
